GRAHAM
THE BROKEN
SALON
The Broken Salon is a community organized by Brother Graham and Emel Ozkul. We meet once a month in Brooklyn, New York.
Our dinner series exists to connect artists of different cultures, backgrounds, stages and mediums together to share their work in a safe space. This is a safe space where artists can share process, experience and meet one another.
These monthly gathering were inspired by the famous artist salon gathers at 27 rue de Fleurus at Gertrude Stine’s famous house the 1920’s in Paris.
If you are Interested in joining the next gathering email me@brothergraham.com

Please stay tuned for more information.
In January of 2022, we Invited 10 artists to Monterrey, Mexico for a month of creation. Each artist enjoyed adjoining Indoor/outdoor studios and living quarters. Ranging from 20 to 60 years old in age, and a broad range of mediums artists we’re given the prompt “When you slow down, what comes up?”. Here artists were invited to break away from their home studio, and reflect on their Inner growth experienced during the “padnemic years”. Works were shown In partnership with the Rocio Costello Gallery in San Pedro, Monterrey at the conclusion of the program. As our second residency program, and first international location we invited both US and Mexico based artists to the program. This exchange of culture Is super important to the curriculum and belief that extroidinary work Is inspired by artists coming together to create and learn alongside one another.
